In 2024, Stefan Sagmeister invited Yannick Jacquet and Interval.ooo to collaborate on the visual scenography for his solo exhibition presented at the SVA Chelsea Gallery in New York as part of The Masters Series.

Originally drawn to the visual language developed through Mécaniques Discursives, Sagmeister invited Jacquet to create a large-scale animated timeline retracing key moments and projects from his career.

Blending motion graphics, typography, archival material and fragmented visual compositions, the installation transformed biographical content into a continuously evolving visual landscape. Rather than functioning as a static retrospective, the piece approached time as a fluid and immersive narrative experience.

Conceived specifically for the gallery space, the project created a dialogue between exhibition design, moving image and graphic storytelling, while extending visual principles already explored in Mécaniques Discursives: layered narratives, temporal loops, hybrid imagery and the coexistence of printed and digital aesthetics.
